They cancelled our outbound flight from Cincinnati, same day. Best offer was to drive to Indy and they would put us on another flight.

After we arrived, that was also option but to buy new tickets from another airline. Return flight got diverted from IND to Cincinnati. They held us in the waiting area for 6 hours, delaying the flight twice, then cancelling. Then said they would have a bus take us back to Indy.....after two more hours (1:15 AM) they said "you are on your own to get home and get your cars." No future flight, cab fare, hotel voucher.....nothing.

We had to get an Uber to home, then a one way rental car to go get our car from IND.....a 5 hour round trip. Cost us over $1100 total.

If it was a weather issue no airline will provide other transportation or ground transportation or provide a hotel or also causes rolling delays like pilots and crews timing out.gas only allows pilots to work so many if it was a delay out of the airlines control,all they are required to do is put you on the next available flight with open seats or you can choose to fly to another airport that the airlines fly to then you would be responsible to get to your final destination or take a refund and book another airline.some other low cost airlines will have a cancelled flight and the next flight isn't for 7 happens.
