So you and your travel mates left your coats in a chair and actually expected them to let you off to go and get it. Who does that?
What reality do you come from? They aren't going to miss their slot and cause inconvenience to the other 100+ passengers for YOU. It's simple numbers and you and your coat thankfully did not matter. Had they let you off and missed their slot, would you have stood up and told the entire flight it was YOUR fault and help them through the issues YOU caused?
No, you would not have and they know this. They have people to move and schedules to keep. Stop the childish whining and grow up. THIS IS ON YOU for being so forgetful.
By the way, oftentimes flights have "void if not off by" or other time-critical clearances. This means if they haven't pushed back and got off, they would have had to wait.
They don't know how smart you are but they know how dumb you are for forgetting an expensive coat. Oh and this ist he part where people like you enjoy saying "you must work for them."

Allegiant Air review: Very uncomfortable. Those seats for 70% of people are so tight and closterphobic.
I even bought a seat in the 19th row. And your like sandwiched in. So tight and uncomfortable. You can’t move your cross your legs. Anyone over 5’6 is accepted. This company has figured out how to make everyone who doesn’t pay top dollar for a seat miserable. This should be regulated. They also nichol and time you to death. They are my last choice. It’s all about money and torture the people doing it.

Allegiant Air review: App does not up date my password.
They have a terrible app. I have had continued problems over the years with the app not updating my password and not being able to sign into the app but if I do it on the web then I can sign in. Very frustrating. Without the app you must print the boarding pass. One more note. The new seats they have are very uncomfortable and small.

Allegiant Air review: Beware Extra cost tacked on my flight
I always flown on alligent but today will be my last time using this airline I was stop before boarding and was told I had to pay for baggage because of what I paid for my flight. When I got into the airport I went to check in and no one said a thing about my bag. I was forced to pay $50 bucks and was told that's the price because of what I paid to fly was checp. Buy beware if you don't have any extra they will not hassitate to stop you from boarding. In this case I had money in my account. I don't recommend this airline for there shady practices. Look else were nothing in my paperwork said I had to pay more. BEWARE

Allegiant Air review: Damaged wheelchair- refused reimbursement
I want to share my experience. Last week I flew to Orlando, Florida from Nashville, Tennessee on Allegiant Airlines. The flight that I took damaged my wheelchair and was delayed 3 hours. I needed to drive another hour from Orlando to Palm Coast, Florida for an appointment. I contacted Allegiant and they said they wouldn’t pay for the damage because I didn’t report it within 4 hours. I wrote them saying it is unacceptable that Allegiant will not reimburse me for the damage they caused my wheelchair. I would suggest no one fly Allegiant unless they enjoy this kind of treatment. Of course, this is very frustrating to me. But I would like to warn other wheelchair users. Do you have a suggestion for me?
