I was supposed to fly out of Punta Gorda to Allentown PA 2/5/2015. I had a medical emergency 2/4/15 with surgery and am in the hospital for the next 3 days.

They said no rescheduling or refund without insurance. Thats just wrong. They will sell my ticket for more. They are robbers and should at least put on a mask.

By the time you pay for baggage, seats, insurance, etc, youre paying full price. asked to speak with a supervisor and the said it would take several days. Treat your customers this way and you will be gone.

Never again Alligiant.

The most disappointing in user's experience was poor customer service, lack of communication and uncaring staff. Author liked the most convenience of airport and stewardesses were nice. The author asks this business to immediately contact him/ her to briefly discuss his/ her negative experience with the company.

You are the cause of your problems, because you bought a non-refundable ticket. Most airlines offer exactly what you want - its called a refundable ticket.

That is what a full fare ticket is. Instead, most people, like you, buy non-refundable tickets at a fraction of the cost of a full fare refundable ticket. When you buy a non-refundable ticket you gamble you will be able to make the flight that day in order to save the hundreds of extra dollars it would cost to get a refundable ticket. You lost.

You made that gamble and could not make it. Therefore you lose some or all of the money you paid for the ticket. So suck it up and live with what you agreed to when you bought the ticket.

What is wrong is you calling them robbers. The only person I see trying to get what they are not entitled to is you.

You want a refund to which you are not entitled to.

Now that's wrong.

You must work for Alligiant. They could have issued a credit for future use.


I had the insurance but when my husband was hospitalized and we had to cancel they still won't refund.

Hate to tell you even with Trip Flex they refuse to give refunds only credit vouchers and then it won't be for an amount anywhere close to the original price. I don't think they'll be in business long enough for anyone to use a credit voucher and certainly not me.
