Took my mother to the airport 2 hours before her 2 hour flight.After boarding, Allegiant said there was an electrical problem and my 84 year old mother de-boarded and went back into the airport.

A couple hours later they re-boarded and then were told that the fuel was too hot and had to de-board again. Back into the airport. My 84 year old mother sat there 7 hours and then they cancelled the flight. They offered her nothing.

So much for their statement on the passenger being their top priority. They're a greedy,crappy airline and I would tell anyone considering a flight with Allegiant to reconsider.

You could end up getting stuck somewhere with no idea of when you'd get home.Never Again Allegiant.

Sounds like they were more concerned about the safety of the flight which is why they canceled it. So it doesn't really make sense that you would then say they don't care about their passengers and that they are greedy.

For the great mass of people, Allegiant's delays are a nuisance but not a problem.If you are not one of those people, e.g.

extremely old - 84 years old, disabled or a business person, then you should not be using Allegiant Airlines. Not all airlines are the same. Spend more money and fly with an airline that has more planes and more agreements with other airlines.

There is a simple test to see if you should fly Allegiant.

Before you fly, write a complaint about being late and see what you include as important. If you say "I am a senior citizen," "I have to get to this funeral," "I have a meeting I had to be at," "I have an infant and a 3 year old," then don't fly them.

This plane serves the needs of those who have flexible schedules, require no additional assistance, and can tolerate a lot of delays and discomfort.For them, this airlines is perfectly suited and serves a need - cheap tickets.
