First scam is baggage policies. You can have a large oversized bag,...

it just can’t weigh anywhere near what all other airlines allow. 39 pounds 15.9 ounces and if it is 40 or more pounds you pay $75 over weight fee? Second scam is all other airlines a personal item like a laptop bag or backpack, and a purse. Allegiant may have cheap tickets,...

yet they purposely make policies that are aimed at taking advantage of an unsuspecting traveler.

Next scam is sitting next to each other,.. no matter if you purchase multiple tickets at the same time or not they get you for $25 per person for sitting with your travel partners.

Product or Service Mentioned: Allegiant Air Baggage Policy.

Reason of review: Not as described.

Preferred solution: 50 pound checked bags and 2 personal items.

I liked: Ticket prices.

I didn't like: Baggage policies.

Yeah its not a scam if you know about it.Also allegiant flies to. many small town airports with shorter runways So they have to keep the weight down in order to stay below max takeoff weight. The only way to limit it is to charge.Same with seat assignments,Everyone wants to sit together so the only way to keep it fair is to charge. That's also just some of the ways they keep the low fares you like. Many people like to choose what they pay for. With other traditional airlines NOTHING if free its all included in the higher fare you pay.Seats,bags.snacks,beverages none of its free.

a dishonest scheme; a fraud.

"an insurance scam" synonyms: fraud, swindle, fraudulent scheme, racket, trick; More "all other airlines" Then fly all other airlines...That's not too hard. "First scam is baggage policies" All of these so-call scams are listed clearly when you go to their site and try to book.

It's no different than a restaurant that sells a basic meals but charges to add stuff on.

You as an adult have the choice to not hit the agree to button and go to one of those other airlines where I'm sure you'll find something to complain about. I'm guessing you're one of those people who agreed to the terms thinking that once they get to the airport you can haggle or brow beat the staff into submission.
