Allegiant Air - 40-45 minutes before *** and still not allowed to board
If you are going to fly on Allegiant Airlines BEWARE....they give you no room to be late to check in at the Mesa AZ airport. Tom, a 74 year old man, was late arriving but he had no luggage just a backpack and the plane was not scheduled to leave for another 40 to 45 minutes but they did not allow him to board.
This was in the Mesa AZ airport.and the people he spoke with were rude and very inconsiderate. He was not the only passenger left in the lobby that day. I contacted them and ask for a credit and was refused.
Not sure I will fly Allegiant again. I think I will check out other airlines.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Allegiant Air Cons: No desk attendant, Rude workers, Uncaring staff.
Location: Stockton, California

He was late. Age doesn't give one the right to violate the contract to which he agreed.
Allegiant's terms and conditions clearly state: "Please plan to be checked in, through airport security and at the boarding gate at least (1) hour before departure and on board the aircraft at least 20 minutes prior to departure." Simply the cost of being tardy.
As to the credit, Allegiant makes it clear that within 7 days of the flight, unless you have Trip Flex, you get no credit or refund on your tickets. They do this so they do not have to overbook as much, since they know people will be there.
You are right, there are terms that you agree to and they have the right to treat customers disrespectfully. We have the right to point out their customer service is rude and they are unwilling to be even the slighted bit flexible like other airlines are. Sure, they can "enforce" the contract, and sure, we can refuse to ever give them another dime.
