No airline will pay for bags with minor tears or scratches broken handles ect because for one they don’t check the condition of your bag when you drop it off so therefore they don’t know where the damage happened Also tsa handles your bags as well so there’s no way to know who is responsible.Also when you check a bag you are allowing to be sent through conveyer belt and other machinery then it’s loaded on to the aircraft with 100s of other suitcases stacked on top of each other so minor damage happens and it would be unreasonable to expect airlines to pay for every bag that has minor damage.However if your bag is damaged so much as it can no longer be used to contain items and you follow that airlines reporting protocol(usually within 2-4 hours after your flight)most airlines will either replace your bag right then and there or some will possibly reimburse you for your bag if you have your receipt.And because of that I will only carry on my bag and if I have to check a bag I will use a cheap bag from Walmart or a thrift store

Thank you very much for sending me a message if I contacted customer service since I needed to change the date of my flight because my dad was very seriously hospitalized. They told me that if I could send proof that I was admitted to the hospital, they could give me a baucher for the cost that I had to pay but unfortunately I do not have that document since my dad passed away and in reality I did not have much time to look for papers and my mood was not the best at that time and actually in the hospital to get a Document after the patient leaves or dies is very difficult. thank you very much for communicating back and being able to understand my situation

Allegiant Air - Horrible Custmer Services

I need to add a child to my ticket. Alligent has made this so frustrating and impossoble. I cant add a child to my ticket on line, I went to the counter of Alligent and said they csn only book on line. Again you Cant Not book online. I have been calling for 3 days waiting on hold for 1 to 2 hours still not able to book a ticket. I have emailed customer service tryimg to book a ticket!! This is absolutly the worst Custmer Service! I just want to book a ticket give you my Money!

Flight was repeatedly delayed, till eventually they rescheduled for the next day. We took another flight but couldn’t get our bags. Was told they would come down on the plane. They didn’t. And the company basically said too bad. Will never fly them again. Hope their company folds and they all lose their jobs.

There is nothing you can do other than reimburse the cost of our alternate flights and having to purchase clothes on our trip. I will encourage anyone taking your flights to find another way to travel. You are abysmal and *** ruined my vacation.

I want to share my experience. Last week I flew to Orlando, Florida from Nashville, Tennessee on Allegiant Airlines. The flight that I took damaged my wheelchair and was delayed 3 hours. I needed to drive another hour from Orlando to Palm Coast, Florida for an appointment. I contacted Allegiant and they said they wouldn’t pay for the damage because I didn’t report it within 4 hours. I wrote them saying it is unacceptable that Allegiant will not reimburse me for the damage they caused my wheelchair. I would suggest no one fly Allegiant unless they enjoy this kind of treatment. Of course, this is very frustrating to me. But I would like to warn other wheelchair users. Do you have a suggestion for me?

Allegiant flight was delayed for an hour. I missed my connecting flight with them. I had to spend all day at the layover airport bc there were no other flights out to my city. Allegiant refused to offer compensation for time lost and wasting my whole day trying to find another flight. I missed my best friend’s wedding bc of them!

The issue you have with the parking is with the airport it.The airline does not own the airport therefore they have no control of the parking.

You should never pack meds or valuables in checked bags.always carryon these items.every airline spells it out in the terms that she agreed to.Just for this type of situationan
