I was attending a military reunion in August. In April my 7:10 am flight on Aug 2nd to Colorado Springs from Phoenix Mesa Gateway was canceled, and changed to 2:10 pm on the same day, after lengthy discussion with Allegiant I decided to accept the change. On Aug 2nd I showed up for my 2:10 flight. At approximately 1:15pm we were notified that our flight was now changed to approximately 3:10 pm with no excuse given. At around 3pm we were now notified that our flight was changed to 4:10 with the excuse that they had to go for fuel(found out later that was a lie) We were also told a snack and drink cart was being brought around for us, but the *** with the cart serviced just about everyone else in the terminal and neglected alot of us. Finally at around 4:40 we were finally told our plane was arriving and we would be taking off about 5:20 pm arriving Colorado Springs at around 6:15. We were airborne at 5:32 pm and arrived Colorado Springs at around 6:30pm. I talked to the flight Attendant and found out the reason for the delay was they had lost an engine earlier in the afternoon. Since this was a reunion and Aug. 2nd was the first day of the reunion I missed all of the first day activities. There is no way that you can talk to a live person at allegiant to complain, the only way to talk to an agent is if your going to book a flight. If you want to complain you must send an e-mail requesting Allegiant to contact you and that would be in 4 to 6 weeks. Allegiant has no 800 number. In my opinion Allegiant Air and its practices are the prime reason to regulate Airlines again. Will I fly Allegiant again no way, and i would recommend others do the same. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" fits Allegiant.

Don't ever fly with Allegiant

Where do I begin? On June 30, 2012 our family vacation was ruined by Allegiant Air. We check in 2 hours early and spend about $100 at an overpriced lounge. During dinner there is an announcement that our flight has been delayed from 4:20 pm to 6:20 pm due to a mechanical issue. Allegiant Airlines brings in some water, pop and cardboard pizza to feed the 100's of people (many with children) who are all stranded. About 45 minutes later there is another announcement that we are delayed again to 8:45 pm. About 45 mins later another announcement comes on that our flight is postponed until 10:50 pm. About 1/2 hour later a 4th announcement that flight cancelled. No explanation. No one around to ask - only security guards who were called in before they make the announcement. Told to get your bags and call a tel # at 8:30 pm. They left 100's of travellers stranded included young dancers who were travelling to Vegas for a competition. Some all alone, some with their parents. Absolutely no concern for their customers and all their staff was hiding. No phones available for customer use, no staff available, no transportation, overnight accommodation arrangements, nothing. SOL! Next flight wasn't until 6:20 pm the next evening. Lost out on 2 nights in Vegas for family celebration! Don't fly with them, don't trust them and don't think they will ever take care of you. They don't give a ***!! If anyone else reads this who was on this flight please post your comments. People need to know they cannot trust this airline.

you better believe I'm going to WAIT for the to get it together--FIX THE ISSUE! wow! I can't beleive you would want to compromise the safety of other passengers just so you and your disgusting family can have a fun vacation? I hope they didn't treat you with much respect becuase you sound so selfish!!!

Bad customer service, horrible rental car rates

I booked a trip, I needed a rental car the ad said bundle and save, "get the best rental cars, vacations, and hotels. It was my fault that I never looked at rates for cars I'll give you that. Out of curiosity I checked rates and found the $261 dollars they charged to be high compared to the 53 dollar rate that Alamo quoted me, ( the same provided used by them, same location, same car!) I was upset and called them to cancel my car and booked the 53 dollar car on my own. I didn't even mind paying the fifty dollar cancelations as I would still save $150. After speaking to someone who was very rude, short and put me on hold for 20 minutes, there resolution was to give me a $150 credit to the airline, which I made very clear by this point I would NOT be flying on again. I will note I was very calm and resectful the whole time. The tone the entire time was pretty much for me to get Fu$$ ed. Good luck out there to all who fly with these people, and check rates because I promise there's are definitely not the best!

ALLEGIANT AIR CHEAPER BUT RUTHLESS

Allegiant air is convienant, man "direct" flights, and is most often cheaper. This entitles them to more customers, and also allows them to treat their customers in a ruthless, disrespectful way. 1) Very hard to get ahold of, they all but hide their phone number, put customers on "Hold" until 75% of them simply hang up. 2) Live Chat is a joke A) They make you wait til one attendant handles a nuber of chats at the same time, B) They make you wait because they are too cheap to hire enough attendants, C) the attendants are usually ***, "Not my area", and simply hit you with a form letter. D) The language the use when you seek reservation is "Deceptive" (If you don't pay for a seat it's implied that when you get to the airport you won't have seat) this trips up alot of old people. E) The flight attendants are generally (not always) ***, low-end fools, not fit to work with the public........ But the ticket is cheaper, so we keep coming back, (But we remember and if things change we'll dump them like a bad meal) Their motto is "Charge less and you can treat em' like ***. Tom

hen maybe you should try driving, taking greyhound, or hitchhiking---it's people like you that try to complain just to get freebies! We live in a sick society with disgusting negative people!! Don't fly Allegiant Air if that's all you want to do!! shop around,..

find better deals... I think you should hitch hike--seems to be more your speed!

Won't book vacation without getting more fees.

Tried to book a vacation with Allegiant Airlines as they had a very good deal on their website. When I got all through and to the confirmation page, I got a message saying that an error was made and they have no seats available on that flight. When I went back and tried to rebook (no more than 5 minutes from the original try) the price of the vacation had gone up. Trying to contact Allegiant's (non-existant) customer service is impossibe. The phone number listed gives 2 options: 1. Report lost luggage. and 2. Directions on filing a claim for damaged luggage. That is it, no options for customer service inquiries, no options for reservations, nothing. The options on the website for live contact are useless, and the e-mail is even worse. I believe there are 2 reasons I was told that no seats were available: 1. They were raising the price of the vacation. 2. I never pre-select a seat and pay the fee they charge for that. This airline is ridiculous as far as customer service goes. As a paying customer, I expect to get some small amount of service for the money I spend.

Over charged ticket price - attempted to email over charge two times and the email was not accepted at time of submission. Tried live chat - the chat wait was 5 minutes - the chat was dropped by agent. Waited 15 minutes for an agent to pick up the phone. Terrible, terrible customer service. This is not a first time I've been mistreated by Allegiant. Avoid the airlines. They delay baggage when routed to baggage claim - I've waited 45 minutes in Mesa AZ. Avoid Allegiant - significant delays with vacation preferred partners. I will not be using this company in the future.

Allegiant Air Threw Me Off A Plane for Complaining

They have the worst employees and customer service in the airline business and are the HOME OF THE OBNOXIOUS CABIN ATTENDANT. I had a small backpack with me and when I objected to them wanting to cram it in between big bags in the small overhead bins they got mad and actually threw me off the plane, called the cops and told the cops I was drunk, making threats and so on. Of course, the cops knew better, didn't do a *** thing and implied this happens on Allegiant Air a lot as they pretty much don't care about customer service at all. Yes, I know there will be some people that read this that figure I probably deserved to be thrown off but you are wrong. Throwing people off a plane before takeoff is no substitute for good customer service and if you expect to get good service from Allegiant Air you will be disappointed. They did agree to book me on another flight 3 days later which serves to demonstrate I didn't do anything heinous. Overall, I have to say it worked out good for me as it allowed me to stay at my vacation home for 3 more days. Of course, it cost them an empty seat on the original flight and a much more expensive seat on a weekend flight. It will be my last Allegiant Air flight though. Life is too short to do business with a company that employs confrontational and obnoxious employees and who regularly throws people off planes for complaining about their service. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks and book another airline. If you don't heed my warning and choose to fly the HOME OF THE OBNOXIOUS CABIN ATTENDANT, be *** sure NOT to object to anything the cabin attendants say or do as they will throw you off the flight and fabricate a complaint to the police about you. Just remember: Allegiant Airlines, HOME OF THE OBNOXIOUS CABIN ATTENDANT.

I have flown numerous airlines, they don't want to throw people off their planes, or call the police. Just think how much harder that makes their day?!

If you were thrown off the plane, you deserved to be thrown off. Wouldn't if of been much easier to just be polite, do what you are told, and not cause a complete inconvenience for the crew and the rest of the passengers?

When people like that cause issues on the plane there is only one word that comes to mind....***! Well, I hope your not on my next flight!!

Did you complain to the Better Business Bureau (BBB)? They might be able to do something about it.

If not, it is probably to late now.

But the BBB is good at what they do. They should solve this problem (it has solved like problems in the past).

I' used to work for Allegiant for almost two years. If you're suspected of being intoxicated and or smell like it then you are removed from the aircraft for the safety of the other passengers and airline crew!

Your flight wasn't booked for another 3 days due to the rest of the flights were booked or Allegiant didn't fly on some of those days. Your seat was probably taken because wasn't listening for boarding and it had gotten taken at that time when the zones with no seat assignments were called! Customer Service number is available if you ask for it and ALL if the employees should know it by heart! Far as your bag you should've put it under your seat.

There are also bag sizers to check your carry to make sure it fits, if it doesn't fit you will be charged as well and will have to check it!

FYI: employees do not have to put up with rude customers! If I was at the gate you wouldn't have gotten on the aircraft drunk in the first place ;)

No customer service!!!! I paid extra and in advance for a seat and a bag.

At check in I was charged again for my bag to be checked NOT CARRIED ON!! After standing in line for boarding I was told my seat that I paid extra and in advance for was taken!! When I complained and asked the attendent to claim my seat I was told to sit where ever there was a seat.

I complained that I paid extra for a seat and sat where they told me to sit. They in the meantime called the police and said I was causing a problem and threw me off the flight!!!!!!I have not been able to talk with anyone in "customer service" and as of now have nothing but the charges on my credit card!!

that is weard, I have seen cabin crew at Allegiant being phisically kicked by rude customers for simply doing their job and the pilots don't throw those people off the flight but ask them if their fist hurt and if they are ok to fly, after hitting a flight attendant.

I've been on a many Allegiant air where passengers were and are typically very selfish. They bring in their LARGE carryon, often larger than than the allowable size.

In most cases, it's actually a backpack.

How they can go to Vegas or some place for a week or longer on just a carryon is amazing but any how, they take up tonnes of space and people who follow the rules and have the legal carry on size on have no place to put their carryon cuz people like the above dont want to store it properly. Why do people even risk having their carryon checked-in and LOST is beyond me. Pay the dang fee for the check-in baggage and u wont run into these kinds of issues.

BTW, kudos to the attendant who kicked u off. Most of the time they dont.
