We had a flight scheduled to leave on June 22nd out of Jacksonville, Fl flight 869 and it was delayed 4 times, then they boarded us for about 10 minutes and then announced they were waiting on a mechanic to arrive due to mechanical problems with the plane. So why would u board passengers if there was a problem.

Then a storm came in while sitting on the plane with lightning and we had to get off

During the storm a luggage trolley flew under the plane causing damage and then the flight was cancelled until the next day after sitting in the airport for 7 hours with all consessions closed unable to get drink or food. Along with 2 of us disabled. The staff with the airline were very unprofessional yelling on the microphone About Not Knowing What to do about the situation. So I asked if the airline was going to place everyone in a hotel due to all of the delays and then cancellation and she Cindy Linton made a phone call and them announced that everyone would be placed in hotels and had a $250 credit to get a hotel and food but would have to pay for it and then get reimbursement from the airlines after submitting paperwork.

Well all of the hotels were full so the 3 of us had to drive 2 hours back home wasting gas and having to pay for a day of parking and then we were told they didn't "have a clue what time the flight would be on the 23rd. Cindy along with a gentleman who said he was with management and Stanley Taub who said he was contracted thru Allegiant that everyone would receive a credit toward a future flight and the $250 for inconvenience of cancellation and to contact CUSTOMER care for all refunds and credits. Then on the 22nd we went for new flight o. 5869 and it was delayed several times as well and most all traveler's were very upset as it was along with us as we had put 2 dialed persons and needed w/c assistance and they even verified and was told they didn't have staff for Allegiant to do that and the airport wouldn't help either so we had to suffer thru it.

Discusted. So after fi ally getting on the flight Tues 23rd the Flight Attendants Were Very Rude. Never seen such a thing. It was sooooo hot on the plane as we sat there for 20 minutes or so after boarding with no air sweating, a lady asked if we were going to get air that it was so hot someone may get sick especially if they have breathing problems or asthma etc.

The flight attendant whom appeared to be the lead one very rudely stated yelling at the lady literally "why would someone get sick, who said that and what makes you think that. No one is going to get sick". Really great staff. All nonsocialable as if they didn't even want to be there.

We finally got air after the plane took off and everyone was soaking wet sweating. We were going for a funeral and ended up being 2 days late to destination in Pittsburgh. Had to pay for extra hotel Night and our rental car had been taken so we ended up having to upgrade because that was all that was available and had to pay double of what we were paying. I feel the airline should reimburse for all problems troubles and extra money people had to pay plus what the lady Cindy said with the airline and get a credit toward another flight, $250 for hotel and food and rental car difference etc.

Not impressed with airline at all. I feel staff need more training on customer service and the airline needs to get there act together.

The airlines obviously thought the mechanical problem was fixed, so they boarded you. When the pilots began to prepare to leave, they found that it had not been fixed.

So they sent for another mechanic to come find what the problem was. That appears to be safe to me, instead of taking off with a problem.

You live in Florida so you know what thunderstorms can do. Airplanes are very fragile, so the plane was damaged. That is not the airlines fault.

You also know how hot it gets in a car when it is out in the Florida sunshine. Planes do not have air conditioners like cars. Its primary air conditioning is taking air heated by the engines, mixing it with the -50 degree or colder air from outside, and through a process getting it to cool room temperature with greater pressure so you can breath. Obviously this does not work well on the ground.

On the ground they usually have an air conditioning hose from the airport about 10" thick hooked to the front of the plane. This provides some cooling but has difficulty cooling a hot plane full of people.

Once the airplane pulls away from the gate, it is then dependent upon a little auxiliary air blowing through its cooling system, but this circulates the air more than cools it.
